Besides the all foreign documentary channels that are told to be watched in Turkey, İz Tv represents something different to spectators. As a national documentary channel, they offer familiar places, familiar faces, familiar histories and familiar civilizations to their “Turk” potentials. As İZ TV declared its mission, its aim is to broadcast national documentaries firstly and then to level up the quality of the documentaries in Turkey. This is something that hold risks but a great potential also. Due to my observations, the early commands about İZ TV are positive. Especially teenagers who are interested in adrenaline sports and the constant documentary watchers are glad to watch it. Can these satisfaction means money ? As it is obvious; documentary is a formation that necessitate expensive solutions. For that reason, these early pleasure is very important and giving hope to be continuous and a profitable channel.
